Don’t miss the gift shop… Hello everyone, how was your weekend? We went to see King Tut exhibition this weekend. We were so excited as many artifacts on display were out of Egypt the very first time. The show was amazing but at the end we realized that King Tut was not part of this exhibition. We looked at our ticket again more closely and it says the “Treasures of the Golden Pharoah”. It’s actually an exhibition of King Tut’s treasures! ? Though a little disappointed, we did find the “mummies” in the gift shop and there were many of them for sale. ? However we still loved the exhibition a lot and were so amazed with the intricate designs from thousands of years ago. Hi, how was your weekend? What are some voices and words that have filled up your time and your mind? The world is full of noises that are trying to get our attention, define who we are, or make us act and think in certain ways. If we are not careful, we can so easily get confused, distracted, or discouraged. However, we can discern if the voice is good or bad by the feelings it provokes. Does it provoke anger, jealousy, despair, or does it provide hope, love and inspiration? This discernment gives us clarity and purpose, an increased understanding of ourselves, and of the people and the world around us. Life is full of challenges. The challenges we face today may seem so huge that sometimes we doubt if we will ever overcome them. However, if we keep working at them, we will eventually tackle them. Many years down the road, as we look back, those “challenges”, “hardships” and “difficulties” we experienced in the past will seem like tiny stars twinkling in the evening sky and we will realize that thanks to the challenges in our life, our nights are little brighter and our faith stronger. Hope this little post and message will bring you hope.
